Speed Cushion Survey

Walton Park Community Members,

Does this postcard look familiar? If you received one of these in the mail and haven't

responded yet, we need your help! As you may know, several of our neighbors worked hard for many years to have speeding concerns on Walton Park Road evaluated. Due to their persistent efforts, Chesterfield County performed a study and has now asked for community input and approval on two proposed speed humps. Their location, along with additional information, can be found at the link on the postcard above.

As of today, we are over 100 respondents short for the County to take action. Only

neighbors who received the postcard are eligible to vote, but if you are not sure, check the link on the postcard, enter the survey, and see if your address is listed. Only one vote per household will be accepted.

We have already surpassed the County’s response deadline, but Chesterfield has offered a two-week extension. Please take the opportunity to vote! Whether you agree or not, we would prefer to have the project denied due to respondents voting no, as opposed to not having enough input at all.
