The Pool
The Walton Park recreational complex includes an Olympic sized pool that encompasses a 10 foot diving well and a 3 foot shallow area. The toddler pool has a pebbled beach zero entry with squirt fountains. A snack bar, covered picnic area, and raised deck seating are also available to pool members.
The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day with modified hours while Chesterfield County School are open. Occasionally, the pool will close early to host the Walton Park Waves home swim meets. For a full breakdown of 2026 pool hours click Here.

Pool Rules
1. Be Kind, Be Respectful, Be Courteous, Be Polite.
2. All those entering the pool are required to be paid members in good standing.
3. Any visitors must be accompanied by a paid pool member.
4. This pool is a NO TOLERANCE location. Members and visitors will be asked to leave if BULLYING is reported. If the behavior is determined to be repetitive, the pool member or visitor will lose pool privileges for the remainder of the season with no refund of fee(s).
5. The use of PROFANITY is strictly PROHIBITED.
6. All children not fully potty trained must wear a swim diaper.
7. Glass containers are not permitted on premises.
8. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 10 are not allowed on pool grounds.
9. No running or rough play is permitted.
10. Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted into the pool and will be asked to leave
11. Consumption of food and beverages is not permitted while in the swimming pool.
12. No animals are allowed with the exception of service animals.
13. Pool staff have the ability to close the pool temporarily or completely for suspected severe weather.
14. Diving is only permitted in the diving well. The Lifeguard has the right to ask a swimmer to leave the diving well if the swimmer does not appear to be able to safely navigate the deeper water. Swimmers may be required to pass a swim test to use the diving well.
Diving Well Rules
1.All swimmers use the diving board at their own risk.\
2. The diving well may only be used when Lifeguards are on duty.
3. Swimmers must clear the diving well when someone is on the diving board.
4. One person at a time on the diving board.
5. Walk, don’t run, on the diving board.
6. The diver is allowed only one bounce off the diving board.
7. No side jumps or dives; enter the pool straight forward from the diving board.
8. Once you have jumped off the board, swim directly to the nearest ladder and exit the diving well.
9. No goggles or flotation devices allowed on the diving board.
10. Parents are not allowed to catch children jumping off the diving board.
