Pool Rental

1. Only current pool paying members in good standing with the Walton Park Community Association (WPCA) will be allowed to initiate a pool rental request. The renter must be present for the duration of the rental. Primary renter must identify themselves to the lifeguards at beginning of rental.

 

2. Outside guests can attend pool rentals

 

3. Rental hours and rates are:

4. Renters will be required to pay a refundable $150 security deposit. The security deposit will be refunded upon inspection of the pool area to be in the same condition as before the rental.

 

5. Lifeguards will need to be obtained by the renter for the event and will be included in the total cost of rental. Rates for lifeguards depends on the number of guests attending the event. Guards are paid by the hour.

6. Renters can bring outside food and non-alcoholic drinks during their rental.

 

7. Renters must ensure all trash items are placed in the trash cans throughout the pool deck at the conclusion of the event.

 

8. Renters are NOT allowed to rent the Pool and Clubhouse at the same time due to safety.

 

9. Pool floats are allowed during private rentals.

 

10. Lifeguards on duty have discretion, in consultation with their respective managers, to ask renters to leave. Guards may also end a rental for noncompliance with pool rules and operations or disregard for the safety of guests.

 

11. Renter agrees to abide by the following rules that will be enforced by lifeguards during time of rental.

• No running on the pool deck

• No diving outside the dive well

• No horseplay

• No alcoholic beverages

• No throwing guests into the air

• No pushing guests into the pool

• No putting guests on shoulders of other guests

• Only one person on the diving board at a time

• Parents must remain within 2 feet of children on flotation devices

• No goggles or flotation devices may be used while going off the diving board

• No food or drinks allowed in the water

• No glass containers on the pool deck

• Food will be confined to the area under one or both pavilions and/or picnic tables

12. At the first sound of thunder, the pool will be cleared of swimmers for 30 minutes. At the first sight of lightning, the pool and pool deck will be cleared for 30 minutes. The pool deck and/or pool will reopen when 30 minutes has passed without the additional sighting of lightning or sound of thunder.

 

13. The WPCA accepts all major credit cards for booking pool rentals No personal checks or cash will be accepted. For available pool rental dates, visit the event calendar.
